I am Eddie, a Full Stack Web Developer living in Atlanta, GA. I moved here from Central Florida in 2012 to start a children’s photography business with my wife. I received a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Florida State and a doctorate in Entomology from the University of Florida.
After several years in photography, I decided to pursue a career in which I could combine my artistic strengths from photography with my passion for science, and I promptly enrolled in DigitalCrafts’ four month, full-time immersive coding bootcamp in September of 2017.
The Shoebox Project is a non-profit organization providing professional photographs for foster children. We designed and build the website for the company. It has signup and login abilities for prospective volunteers as well as the foster children themselves, with home pages catered to their interests. We built the site using Node.js, Express, and integated it with MySQL.
